The New Threat to Wolves in and Around Yellowstone

The population of wolves has increased in and around Yellowstone National Park but now it is facing threats from people.

Wolves are one of the most hunted animals in the world. They are very smart and intelligent animals and they are known for their social structure. There are a total of 1,100 wolves in and around Yellowstone National Park and it is the second biggest wolf pack in the world. But this number is not enough for the survival of the species as there are more than 300 packs of wolves in Russia and Canada.

The number of wolves is increasing in and around Yellowstone National Park due to a large number of tourists visiting the park. The people have killed hundreds of elk and deer and this has affected the number of prey animals for the wolves.
