Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari closed out the year with a warning that Israel’s war objectives “require prolonged fighting” and that the IDF is “preparing accordingly” as it heads into 2024. Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the war “will continue for many more months,” as fighting continued across Gaza.
